The public comment period to provide feedback on the Public Draft JLUS ended at midnight on August 11, 2017. Thank you to all who provided comments on the Public Draft JLUS during this time. All comments received will be reviewed for consideration in the JUS documents.
Public Workshop #3 was conducted in D’Iberville, Mississippi on August 2, 2017 at 4:00 pm at D’Iberville Town Green located at 10004 Central Avenue, and in Biloxi on August 3, 2017 at 4:00 pm at the City of Biloxi Community Development Building located at 676 Martin Luther King Jr., Blvd.
At this public workshop, participants were provided a status update on the JLUS project, key recommendations were reviewed, and the public had an opportunity to provide comment and feedback on the Public Draft JLUS documents and Military Compatibility Area maps. Opportunities for continued public input through the remainder of the public period were also explained. Due to the geography of the JLUS Study Area, each workshop focused on the issues and recommendations unique to each region.
Below are links to the presentation from the City of D’Iberville workshop and the presentation from the City of Biloxi workshop. The Public Draft JLUS documents are available for public review until midnight on August 11, 2017.
